This Tortoiseshell female, born approximately August 2012, is still hand shy. Although she will let you pet her on the head when she is in her cage,she is very nervous. Flower has been in foster care for awhile now and she is still leery of her foster mom. This is because she likely had a traumatic kittenhood where an older gentleman was practicing 'population control with a shovel'! She was fast enough to get away from him, but became mistrusting of humans.
