Stella was found on the streets and taken to NYC Animal Care and Control. The shelter said she was a Shepherd/Chihuahua mix. (I suppose stranger things are possible). Little Stella is 8 months old and weighs 15 lbs. She's done most of her growing by now, but will do a bit more by the time she's a two year-old. 18lbs will be her adult weight. She's fine living in a household full of dogs and cats. She's a great snuggler in bed. Stella will need to be lovingly taught basic obedience, as she has grown up with no instruction but is ready and willing to please. If after watching her fly like the wind on her video, you think little Stella might belong in your family, please call her foster mom Julia at 518-249-4588. Julia's adoptions require a home visit, vet reference and the perfect match between two and four footed. There is also a $250 adoption fee which helps offset some of the medical, feeding, and miscellaneous costs associated with the care of her many fosters.
