Slim is an older guy that just wants a home to retire in. Poor Slim was found running as a stray, and the police officer that picked him up named him "Slim" for his skinny appearance. Slim came in with barely any teeth left in his mouth, and multiple rectal hernias that have since been removed. Slim is very easy going and sweet, and will sit patiently for a treat. He craves affection and attention, and has excellent manners. We think he'd do best in a low-key, mellow home without young children, as they may be too much for him. We also think that he would be a total couch potato once settled into a home, which he definitely deserves! Slim is currently enrolled in the New Leash on Life program, where he is learning 24/7 positive reinforcement and obedience training. His adoption comes with a free training session with Charlene Marchand, valued at $200!
